Product Introductions
GE Healthcare introduced the rProtein A GraviTrap, Protein G GraviTrap and rProtein A/Protein G GraviTrap gravity-flow columns for single-step manual purification of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies from various species in milligram scale.
GE Healthcare released the PreDictor RoboColumn, prepacked miniaturized columns that support fully automated separation workflow using robotic liquid handling workstations. Columns are available in 50, 200 and 600 µL volumes. The units are packed by Atoll and are identical to the RoboColumn units supplied directly by Atoll.
Dionex (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) launched the Acclaim C30 reversed-phase HPLC column for separation of structurally related isomers. It is available in 3 µm and 5 µm particle sizes.
Dionex (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) introduced the IonPac CS19 cation-exchange column for the separation of amines and inorganic cations in complex sample matrices.
Dionex (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) released the IonPac AS25 anion-exchange hydroxide selective column for the gradient separation of multivalent anions in complex sample matrices in approximately 30 minutes without the use of solvents.
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments introduced a low-pressure gradient unit for its Nexera UHPLC system, which allows for 4×4 solvent delivery.
Chiral Technologies released a fourth immobilized chiral stationary phase, CHIRALPAK ID, featuring a novel enantiorecognition mechanism.
Spark Holland introduced the UHPLC-SA LC Set for the Alias auto sampler. The Set features a SPH 1240 pump, which delivers a high-pressure gradient of 1240 bar (18,000 psi) at rates of up to 5 mL/min.
In June, Thermo Fisher Scientific launched the Thermo Scientific Accucore HPLC column range, which contains 2.6 µm solid core particles and an average particle size distribution of 1.12.
Agilent introduced the ZORBAX RRHD 300SB-C18 1.8 µm column for reversed-phase characterization of intact proteins and protein digests.
