DKSH signed an exclusive agreement with Normalab in November 2012 to provide market expansion services for the petrochemical sector in Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.

SII NanoTechnology (now Hitachi High-Technologies) introduced the DMS7100 Dynamic Mechanical Spectrometer, featuring easy and secure sample mounting and removal, new software and a Lissajous monitor.
In November, SII NanoTechnology (now Hitachi High-Technologies) released the Thermo Analyzer gTG/DTA7220h simultaneous thermogravimetry/differential thermal analyzer system that supports the option to observe by CCD camera the sample changes as they occur.
Newage Testing Instruments introduced the Newage MT91 Automatic Microhardness Traverse Testing System, which measures hardness based on depth of penetration rather than using an optical system.
