Millipore Teams with Rohm and Haas

The pipeline of biologic drugs has made biopharmaceutical manufacturing a fast growing market in which Millipore competes with GE Healthcare, Pall and Sartorius AG. No doubt a teaming with well-known media supplier Rohm and Haas will buoy product development.

Billerica, MA and Philadelphia, PA 12/5/07—Millipore and Rohm and Haas have agreed to jointly develop new ion exchange chromatography products for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Millipore will have exclusive access to the new media. Millipore’s Bioprocess Division will utilize its expertise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and Rohm and Hass Ion Exchange Resins will contribute its knowledge of ion exchange resins, polymer chemistry and manufacturing.
