In March, HORIBA Scientific released the LabSpec 6 Raman software platform, featuring a new interface and a fully integrated multivariate analysis module.

Jenway launched the Genova Plus spectrophotometer for life science analysis. It is designed to be used with the Tray Cell for 0.7–0.5 µL sample volumes.

Arjae Spectral released the Sensei Spectrometer, which allows for high spectral resolution and high throughput by narrowing the input source without using a slit.

Starna Cells launched the DMV-Bio Cell for direct sampling of samples in volumes of 0.6 µL up to 2.5 µL. It is compatible with all major UV-Vis spectrophotometers.

Renishaw introduced the RA800-series of OEM benchtop Raman microscopy solutions.

Los Gatos Research launched the field-portable Triple Isotope CO2 Analyzer for simultaneous and continuous measurement of all three stable isotope ratios directly from ambient air without pre-concentration.

BioDrop introduced the TOUCH UV/Vis spectrophotometer for micro-volume measurement, featuring a standard-size cuvette holder and magnetic pipetting station.

Umetrics, an MKS Instruments subsidiary, released in April SIMCA 13 multivariate data analysis software, featuring a new ribbons interface and new plot library.

PerkinElmer launched the OilExpress 4 for monitoring for contaminants and degradation products in oil. It utilizes the Spectrum Two FT-IR spectrometer, JANUS multi-tip sampling capabilities and an autosampler.

In April, Picarro introduced the G5101-i analyzer for measuring nitrous oxide in the air.

FOSS released the NIRS DA1650, a diode array NIR analyzer for the fast and simple analysis of feed products and raw materials for protein, fat and moisture.

B&W Tek launched in April the Exemplar miniature spectrometer with an embedded processor.

In May, StellarNet released the Raman-SR and Raman-HR spectrometers, which active 8 cm-1 and 4 cm-1 resolution, respectively, using CCD detector arrays.
