Eden Prairie, MN 7/8/15—MTS Systems, a supplier of test systems and position sensors, has purchased Instrument and Calibration Sweden (ICS) for $0.7 million. ICS provides testing equipment and calibration services. ICS is expected to add $1–$2 million to MTS revenues over the next 12 months. “The acquisition will provide growth for our services business by adding capacity to our services team and expanding our accredited calibration services offering. In addition, their equipment sales will provide another channel for our materials test systems,” stated Dr. Bill Bachrach, senior vice president and general manager of MTS Test.
