New CEO at Endress+Hauser

Mr. Endress will become president of the Supervisory Board. Endress+Hauser generated 2012 revenues of €1.7 billion ($2.2 billion = €0.78 = $1). This year, the company took a controlling stake in Analytik Jena (see IBO 12/15/13).

Reinach, Switzerland 12/30/13—Matthias Altendorf will become CEO of measurement instrumentation and services firm Endress+Hauser effective January 1, 2014 (see IBO 5/15/13). He previously served as managing director of the company’s Center of Competence for level and pressure measurement engineering in Maulburg, Germany. He replaces Klaus Endress, who will join the Supervisory Board after 19 years as CEO. Mr. Altendorf is the third CEO since the company’s establishing in 1953 and is the first CEO who is not a member of the Endress family.
