New President Joins Shimadzu Scientific Instruments

Columbia, MD 4/16/07—Shimadzu has named Takeshi Kawami president of Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, the company’s North American subsidiary. He replaces Osamu Ando, who served as president for seven years. Mr. Kawami is a 24-year veteran of the company and previously served as vice president of a sales subsidiary.
