In March, SCP Science announced that it is a North American distributor of Spinlocks’s NMR spectrometer and accessories.
Sales/Orders of Note
Bruker announced in December 2010 that the University of British Columbia placed an order for its AVANCE III 850 spectrometer. The system will be used for research on microbial diseases.
In January, Bruker announced an order valued at more than $7.5 million from the University of Minnesota for the Avance III 900 and Avance III 850 NMR spectrometers for a new NMR laboratory.
In February, Agilent announced that the Harvard Medical School selected its 700 MHz Ultra-High Field NMR spectrometer for use in the laboratories of Drs. Gerhard Wagner and James Chou to study protein structure and interaction.
Agilent announced a $4.3 million contract with the University of Toronto’s Department of Chemistry for multiple NMR spectrometers, including 500, 600 and 700 MHz systems for its new Center for Spectroscopic Investigation of Complex Organic Molecules and Polymers.
