Company Announcements

In May, Green Imaging Technologies announced a licensing agreement with Schlumberger Technology for access to a processing and analysis algorithm to extract 2D maps from data for use in rock core NMR analysis. It is the first company to gain a license to the technology.

In May, Stelar and HTS-100 announced a collaboration to develop NMR products for applications requiring spin relaxation times at higher magnetic field strengths.

Magritek announced in June that investment firm Rangatira acquired a 12% stake in the company. Rangatira also entered into a conditional undertaking to provide further funds in a year’s time to increase its stake to 18%.

Product Introductions

In May, Oxford Instruments launched the Pulsar, an affordable, benchtop, cryogen-free NMR, which incorporates a 1.4 T rare-earth permanent magnet.

Bruker introduced in July the AVANCE-IVDr NMR, a standardized platform for clinical research screening and IVD-by-NMR research, featuring 600 MHz proton-NMR frequency and the SampleJetT autosampler.
