Company Announcements
Aspect Imaging expanded its cooperation with Bruker in April for manufacturing and distribution. Aspect will provide Bruker with technology for use in its Icon 1 T MRI system. Aspect will now focus on its clinical and industrial markets and no longer sell its M2 system directly to the preclinical market. It will refer those prospective customers to the Bruker Icon, which uses Aspect’s front-end components. Aspect will continue to develop products for the preclinical market, working closely with Bruker.
Product Introductions
Bruker launched in March the WineScreener FT-NMR-based screening system for quantitative targeted and non-targeted statistical analyses of wine.
Bruker introduced the CryoProbe Prodigy TCI 600 for its 600 MHz AVANCE III HD NMR spectrometer.
JEOL Resonance released in April the 0.75 mm solid state NMR probe for applications that are difficult for conventional NMR systems. It is capable of 1H analysis by spinning the sample at 110 kHz. Magic Angle Spinning capability provides analysis of micro samples (0.29 µL).
In April, Agilent introduced upgrade packages for its NMR systems, consisting of electronics and software.
