PAC Buys Viscometer Company
Cambridge Viscosity products will retain their brand and add the PAC name. Cambridge Viscosity adds small-sample viscometers for both lab and process to PAC’s product line. PAC’s worldwide presence will expand the market for Cambridge Viscosity’s products.
Houston, TX 3/6/12—PAC, a Roper Industries–owned supplier of analytical and online process instrumentation, has acquired Cambridge Viscosity for an undisclosed amount. Cambridge Viscosity provides small-sample fluid viscosity measurement systems utilizing electromagnetic-based sensor technology. “With over 25 years of experience, Cambridge Viscosity has served the oil and gas, paint, ink and coating, pharmaceutical and chemical industries with highly accurate and exceptionally reliable in-process and laboratory viscometers,” stated PAC President Jeroen Schmits.
