Tucson, AZ 1/27/14—Protein Technologies, a supplier of peptide synthesizers and reagents, has filed suit against Peptide Solutions in the Superior Court of Arizona. Allegations include breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of trade secrets and proprietary information, and tortious interference. Protein Technologies stated that the complaint alleges the theft and usage of its confidential information by former employees, including founder and CEO Mahendra Menakuru. The suit alleges that the information is being used to illegally solicit former customers. Protein Technologies seeks an injunction requiring Peptide Solutions to return its information and to enjoin it from obtaining, using or disclosing any proprietary information.
