Cianflone has 10 employees, according to a Main Line spokesperson. As to how Main Line plans to grow Cianflone, he told IBO, “Our plan is to invest heavily in existing and new product offerings and add strategic human resources to accelerate growth.”
Pittsburgh, PA 4/15/15—Cianflone Scientific Instruments, a manufacturer of lab and portable x-ray spectrometry instruments for on-site chemical analysis and coating thickness measurements, has been acquired by Main Line Equity Partners. The purchase price was not disclosed. “This acquisition presents an opportunity for us to help Cianflone further capitalize on existing business today, while also serving as a springboard to achieve significant growth tomorrow,” stated Doug Hart, operating partner of Main Line, who will become Cianflone’s general manager. The acquisition includes all business assets and real estate property. The company currently has over 500 customers.
