Product Introductions

Xylem launched the next generation of WTW spectral sensors, CarboVis, NitraVis and NiCaVis, for use with its IQ SensorNet System.

Xylem released the Global Water Instrumentation PC320 process control meter and industrial control system for use with any type of two and three wire sensors with a 4-20 mA, 0-1 volt and 0-5 volt output.

Servomex introduced the SERVOTOUGH LaserCompact 3900 for in situ monitoring of a wide range of gases. It utilizes tunable diode laser spectroscopy.

Shimadzu launched the TOC-4200 on-line total organic carbon (TOC) analyzer, featuring Modbus two-way digital communication and optional web-based monitoring capabilities and high-sensitivity kit for measurements of samples with TOC concentrations below 1 mg C/L.

Axiom Analytical introduced the DPR-210XT High-Transmission Attenuated Total Reflectance Probe, which is specifically designed to interface with the new generation of small and flexible FTIR spectrometers.

Axiom Analytical released the FPT-850U Ultraviolet Transmission Probe, featuring a proprietary sealing technique and no optical fibers within the probe.

Environnement SA released the AS32M analyzer for the direct measurement of nitrogen dioxide. It is based on cavity attenuated phase shift spectroscopy.

Environnement SA introduced the VOC72M for the measurement of volatile organic compounds by GC with a photo ionization detector. It can handle up to 40 compounds and eight configurations.

Electro-Chemical Devices released the Triton DO9 Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Analyzer, featuring a three-electrode amperometric sensor and closed control loop, that measures DO from 0.001 mg/L to 20.00 mg/L.

Sales/Orders of Note

In October 2011, PEMEX purchased 45 of AMETEK Process Instruments’ tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy–based Model 5100 HD Series gas analyzers for monitoring moisture levels in natural gas.
