DKK-TOA and Chinese state firm Chongqing Chuanyi Automation formed a technology and sales collaboration agreement for VOC analysis, specifically PM2.5 analysis, in March.

Product Introductions

In August, Sensorex, a Halma company, added four new models to its SD7000 family of differential pH/ORP sensors.

In August, as part of a new portfolio for midstream natural gas measurement, Honeywell Process Solutions launched the Encal 3000 GC. Optimized for varying shale gas compositions, the MEMS-based Encal 3000 provides heating value and volumetric custody-transfer measurements. The system requires no routine maintenance, and one bottle of Helium carrier gas for it lasts up to 18 months.

Mettler-Toledo Thornton introduced in August the new Fast Response pureO3 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor, featuring increased stability in pure-water applications.

Endress+Hauser released in August the Liquiline CM44P multichannel analyzer transmitter for up to 16 parameters. It simultaneously accepts inputs from up to two process photometers and four analytical sensors, such as pH, ORP, conductivity, oxygen, nitrate, turbidity, free chlorine and ion selective sensors. Applications include monitoring of chromatography, fermentation, phase separation and filtration.

FOSS launched the FTIR-based inline MilkoStream for liquid milk analysis of fat and protein content before the dairy production process. The system is initially available in North America and Pacific regions.

In October, Bükert expanded its Type MS02 sensor cube for the Type 8905 Online Analysis System to measure either free active chlorine or chlorine dioxide.

In October, IONICON Analytik announced the sale of its 300th instrument, a PTR-TOF 1000 system. The company has 30 employees.
