Galvanic Applied Sciences’ revenues for the year ending April 30 fell 19.2% to CAD 11.2 million ($10.3 million) (see page 12). The loss after income taxes was $206,000. Sales of Analytical Measurement Equipment declined 19.0% to CAD 6.0 million ($5.5 million). Sales of Liquid Process Analyzers fell 14.0% to CAD 4.6 million ($4.2 million).

Product Introductions
Applied Rigaku Technologies introduced the Rigaku NEX XT on-line sulfur analyzer for X-ray transmission high-level sulfur measurement.
Ometric introduced Multivariate Optical Computing, based on the principles of optical spectroscopy, for real-time measurement of gas-to-oil ratio for oil production and manufacturing processes.
Hach released the sc200T universal controller for water analysis, enabling the use of digital and analog sensors, either alone or in combination.
KROHNE launched the OPTISENS MAC 100 multiparameter converter for liquid analysis in the water and wastewater industry, stating that its operation is standardized for both flowmeters and analytical devices.
Endress & Hauser introduced the Liquiline CM442, four-wire, two-parameter transmitter for analytical sensing applications. The company also introduced four Memosens analytical sensors: the Oxymax COS61D optical dissolved oxygen sensor, the Indumax CLS50D noncontacting inductive conductivity sensor, the Turbimax CUS51D turbidity/suspended solids sensor, and the Viomax CAS51D photometric sensor for concentration measurement.
Cogent Environmental launched the OVA7000 on-line trace metals analyzer for surface water, industrial wastewater and process water.
Emerson Process Management introduced the 700XA GC for the natural gas and process industries, which operates to specification at temperatures of -40°C to 60°C.
