CyTerra, an L-3 company, received a follow-on order from the US Army valued at more than $40 million for several thousand AN/PSS-14 mine detection systems.
In March, Smiths Detection received a $19.2 million order from the US Department of Defense (DOD) for more than 4,100 handheld Improved Chemical Agent Monitor (ICAM) units for the detection of nerve and blister agents. Over 70,000 ICAMs are deployed globally.
The DOD placed a $14.2 million order for Smiths Detection’s GID-3 chemical agent detectors.
