St. Louis, MO 4/2/12—Sigma-Aldrich has acquired Research Organics, a supplier of high-purity biochemicals, for an undisclosed amount. Research Organics joins Sigma-Aldrich’s SAFC business. “Research Organics is an important addition to our pharmaceutical grade portfolio of raw materials for the biopharmaceutical industry,” commented SAFC President Gilles Cottier. “It will also enable us to provide SAFC’s customers with true dual sourcing of buffers from two of the world’s leading manufacturing sites.” The acquisition is expected to be neutral to 2012 EPS.
