South Korea’s 30 largest corporations plan to make environmental investments of KRW 22.4 trillion ($18.61 billion) from 2011 to 2013, a 48% increase from the prior four-year period. The government will increase a KRW 105 billion fund to promote environmental investments by small- and medium-sized businesses to KRW 1.1 trillion by 2013.
