Yellow Springs, OH 6/10/09—YSI has acquired Design Analysis Associates (DAA), which designs and markets equipment that measures, records and telemeters hydrological data. Terms were not disclosed. “Because we share many of the same customers in the water monitoring market, this acquisition is extremely synergistic,” said Rick Omlor, YSI CEO and president. The Fletcher family, which owned DAA, will remain in key positions.
