3D Biomatrix™ Expands Its Distribution Network

Ann Arbor, MI – 3D Biomatrix, a leader in the development of three-dimensional (3D) cell culture products, is proud to announce that it has signed a distribution agreement with DivBioScience to market and sell the company’s Perfecta3D(TM) Hanging Drop Plates. The Hanging Drop Plates are designed to simplify and streamline spheroid formation, culture, and subsequent testing of the 3D cellular constructs. Spheroid cultures grown in Perfecta3D(TM) Hanging Drop Plates allow drug discovery researchers to easily mimic tissue metabolic and proliferative gradients, to capture complex cell-matrix and cell-cell interactions, and to monitor cell growth easily and regularly.

DivBioScience will distribute the Hanging Drop Plates in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and South Africa.

“Drug discovery researchers find our 3-dimensional Plates are a cost-effective and simple way to grow and test cell cultures in a true bio-mimicking environment,” said Laura Schrader, CEO of 3D Biomatrix. “With a strong distribution partner like DivBioScience, we can now access these researchers in these vibrant countries with top-notch service.”

“DivBioScience will distribute our Hanging Drop Plates in markets with exciting growth,” added 3D Biomatrix Distribution Manager Meghan Cuddihy. “We are happy to have a presence there.”
