As part of its ongoing investment in India, AB SCIEX, a global leader in life science analytical technologies, today announced the grand opening of a new $3 million (USD) facility in Delhi to give scientists and laboratory technicians across all of India access to the latest innovations in analytical technologies.

This state-of-the-art, scientific support centre is designed to help address some of India’s biggest analytical challenges, including food safety, environmental protection, vitamin D analysis, biomedical research, testing of banned drugs of abuse, and the development of new therapeutics and generic drugs.

AB SCIEX expanded in India one year ago, acquiring Labindia’s mass spectrometry business in November 2011.
