Akadeum Launches Mouse Naïve Cell Isolation Products

Akadeum microbubble technology enables rapid enrichment of naïve cells without a column or magnet.

ANN ARBOR, Mich.March 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Akadeum Life Sciences, Inc., an Ann Arbor-based biotech company, announced today the expansion of its product line with mouse naïve CD4+ T cell and mouse naïve T cell negative selection isolation kits. The two new kits add to a portfolio of products that leverage Akadeum’s proprietary buoyancy-based cell isolation delivering high performance with simpler workflows.

Akadeum’s new product line allows users to perform the entire cell separation process without a column or magnet. Its buoyancy-activated cell sorting (BACS™) microbubble kits negatively select for naïve T cells and naïve CD4+ T cells, resulting in high purity populations untouched and ready for downstream applications.

“We are excited to announce the release of two new isolation kits as a direct response to customer requests to bring the benefits of Akadeum BACS technology to new areas of research,” said Akadeum CEO Brandon McNaughton. “Akadeum will continue to prioritize new development to bring great performance and gentle cell enrichment where our customers need it most.”
