AnalytiChem acquires SCP SCIENCE and expands its offering for inorganic analytical laboratories with sample preparation equipment, reagents, and certified reference materials.

Eschborn – Germany. Today AnalytiChem Holding GmbH announces the acquisition of the SCP SCIENCE group.

Seignory Chemical Products Ltd, known globally as SCP SCIENCE is a federally incorporated Canadian company with headquarters in Baie D’Urfé (Montréal), Quebec, Canada and European offices in Courtaboeuf (Paris), France and Marktoberdorf, Germany.

The company was founded in 1980 by George Feilders and is a market leading manufacturer of sample preparation instruments including microwave and graphite block digestion systems, environmental chemistry analyzers, certified reference materials, matrix standards, specialized chemistry reagents, and graphite, plastic, glass and quartz consumables for the atomic spectroscopy market. SCP SCIENCE is also the owner of the globally recognized Conostan line of oil-based standards. In addition to having an ISO 9001 certification covering all locations, the company is also accredited to ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 for the production of certified reference materials at its Canadian manufacturing facility.
