Westbrook, ME – Artel is pleased to announce that it has expanded its Technical Services team with the appointment of Dana Campbell, who will join Artel as a Laboratory Applications Specialist.

Over the past decade, Dana has accumulated a wealth of expertise while working at Beckman Coulter Inc. as a Senior Field Applications Specialist where he worked directly with customers using the Biomek family of liquid handling instruments and control systems. The addition of Dana’s experience and expertise will enable Artel to better meet the rapidly increasing demand for its Liquid Handling Performance Verification Services offering.

Dana will work with Artel’s Research Development & Engineering team as well as Sales & Marketing to advance and find new applications for the company’s liquid-handling calibration technologies. These technologies include the Artel MVS® (Multichannel Verification System) and the Artel PCS® (Pipette Calibration System) that enable users of liquid handling devices to simply and precisely verify that liquid handlers are working correctly so they can have unambiguous confidence in their results.

Artel’s Technical Services team works directly with customers to solve complex liquid handling process issues that are often critical to the integrity of laboratory test results, improve laboratory efficiency and ensure compliance using Artel technology and customized services.

Artel’s other service offerings include training for laboratory technologists in liquid handling best practices for manual pipettes and automated liquid handlers, as well as liquid handler installation and performance verifications.
