Autoscribe Informatics is delighted to announce the formation of Autoscribe Informatics Pty Ltd based in Adelaide, South Australia. The new operation has been created to better service the needs of our current and future customers in Australia and New Zealand. Heading up the operation is Bob Blunden, Director, who has over 35 years’ experience in Information Technology and Laboratory Informatics.

Business opportunities have been increasing in both Australia and New Zealand giving Autoscribe the perfect opportunity to take this exciting step. This and the added benefit of having Bob Blunden join us is incredibly exciting. Bob has an enormous amount of experience in the industry having previously been Regional Manager at STARLIMS Australasia and a Director of Informatics, Asia Pacific, at both Thermo Electron and Waters Corporation. Autoscribe is very much ready to expand on its already increasing customer base across the globe with Australasia being a key direction for the company. We are looking forward to Bob building strongly on to the existing customer base that we have already established!”.

One of the main reasons that I decided to return to the mainstream LIMS business and get involved in the setup of the Autoscribe Informatics Australasian organization was that I could see that the Matrix Gemini LIMS product offered functionality very different from, and very competitive with, the other LIMS products I have been involved with over the years. The configurability of Matrix gives us many opportunities to expand on our customer base in a wide range of markets including environmental/water, dairy/farming/veterinary, biobanking, mining/petrochemical, food/viticulture and research/contract laboratories.”
