Biosero Posts Record Growth in 2017: Announces the Launch of “Multi-WorkCell” Management Software, On-Line Store and Expands International and OEM Business for 2018

Biosero, a premiere laboratory automation and custom integrations provider, announces the release of exciting new multi-WorkCell interconnection and workflow management capabilities, the launch of an on-line store, and international and OEM business expansion to further support 2018 growth.

During 2017 Biosero strategically focused on expanding multi-workstation integration and operational data collection capabilities of their Green Button Go (GBG) Automation Scheduling software. Flexibility and easy customization of GBG enable automated solutions ranging from single robot integrations up to interconnected multi-workstation systems for large Pharma and Biotech companies.

Biosero is announcing exciting new features in GBG enabling control of WorkCells both individually and as part of a larger, interconnected complex system. “Enabling multi-station workflows capable of moving large numbers of samples on interconnected tracks dramatically scales the capacity of walk away laboratory automation. This will take GBG and Biosero into new applications and adjacent markets,” commented Tom Gilman, CEO of Biosero.

GBG is rapidly growing in popularity and supporting integrated lab automation solutions for both end-users and OEM partners. “We continue to increase our automation and integration capabilities with the addition of multi-workstation functionality and significantly increased operational data collection capabilities,” said David Dambman, Director of Engineering at Biosero. These new capabilities in GBG and related software products expand the applications footprint, set the foundation for leveraging real time data driven decision making for automated workflows, and opens the opportunity to engage in exciting new partnerships. To address global OEM business potential Biosero has restructured and dedicated additional business development and R+D resources for OEM opportunities. Additionally, growth in demand has driven expansion in Europe with additional sales resources.

To drive the growth of its instruments and consumables sales, Biosero is launching an on-line store in early 2018. Biosero BioRead Barcode scanners will be the first products offered as the initial step toward making it easier for customers to purchase a variety of sample management solutions and consumables.

Biosero will be exhibiting at the upcoming SLAS 2018 Laboratory Automation Conference in San Diego, CA., Feb. 3-7 (SLAS 2018) and will be revealing new software developments and system integration capabilities along with presentations by existing customers.
