Stephen Hoare joins HEL Inc. as Director of New Business Development. This new role strengthens the company’s commitment in the US market, where he will be responsible for sales and new business development. Steve has over 25 years of experience in sales and major account management in the laboratory supply market, primarily focused on the R&D operations of major pharmaceutical, industrial and academic customers. Prior to joining HEL Inc he was Vice President of Sales at Amphora Research Systems Inc where he was responsible for all aspects of North American sales, prospecting, forecasting, quotes and proposals/ contract negotiation. Steve also has experience setting up/ managing distributors and closing direct sales with suppliers of biomedical and life science research product and building strategic relationships with key customers. He is a member of the Special Librarians Association (SLA): (Philadelphia/ Pharmaceutical / Biotech / Chemical Chapters) and is a consultant for the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
