Carl Zeiss Ltd. Acquires Imaging Associates Ltd.

Subsidiary of Carl Zeiss, a globally leading international group of companies in the optical and optoelectronic industry, enhances microscope imaging support and application delivery in the UK.

Welwyn Garden City , United Kingdom. Carl Zeiss Ltd. has agreed to acquire Imaging Associates Ltd, as part of Carl Zeiss’ continuing investments into customer support and service delivery.

The business, with offices in Bicester, Oxfordshire, is to be fully integrated into Carl Zeiss Ltd. and will continue to provide technical service and application support to the rapidly expanding installed base of Carl Zeiss microscopy systems and digital imaging solutions. With the integration of the experienced Imaging Associates team, Carl Zeiss Ltd. will also gain additional expertise for sales and application support in the areas of industrial & materials science microscopy.

Carl Zeiss Ltd. is a member of the Carl Zeiss Group, a globally leading international group of companies in the optical and optoelectronic industry.

Imaging Associates Ltd. contributes its skills and experience in quality software support and service delivery, technical expertise and customer orientation; its customer relationships in the materials science sector will also benefit the company. The company will also continue the distribution

of MetaSystems Cytogenetic imaging systems.
