CDEX Taps Public Safety Industry Veteran as Director of Outside Sales

TUCSON, AZ, CDEX Inc. (OTCBB: CEXI), a leading developer of chemical detection products, using patented technologies, for use in healthcare, safety and security markets, announced today public safety industry veteran John McConnell has joined its team as Director of Outside Sales.

McConnell’s professional background spans more than 20 years as an advisor and senior executive with several leading security and technology companies. Prior to joining CDEX, McConnell was the vice president of sales and marketing at Soncell North America (NA), Inc., parent company of Decatur Electronics, Inc., where he was instrumental in the

integration and management of more than 50 direct public safety sales team members. Previous to Soncell NA, he held the director of sales position with Integrian, Inc., was co-founder and vice president of sales / business development with Digital Safety Technologies, Inc., and served in various executive and sales management positions with other companies.

At CDEX, McConnell will be responsible for building a network of sales channel leaders to identify, target and sell the ID2 product line nationally and internationally.
