Centice Corporation Announces the Promotion of Dr. Prasant Potuluri to Chief Strategy Officer

Morrisville, NC – Centice Corporation, a pioneer in chemical verification and identification using Raman spectroscopy and computational sensor technology, announced today the promotion of Dr. Prasant Potuluri to Chief Strategy Officer. In addition to his current role as CTO, he will have the primary responsibilities of corporate development and technology business relationships. His responsibilities will include evaluating strategic investments in complementary sensor technologies.

“Dr. Potuluri is key to our success and will be instrumental in expanding our market position,” said Centice CEO Scott Albert. “This role will drive our strategic partnerships and technology direction.”

Dr. Potuluri is a co-founder of Centice and has been CTO since its inception in 2004. He also serves on the board of directors for the company. At Centice, Dr. Potuluri has helped the company commercialize the technology licensed from Duke University and was instrumental in creating multiple products from the company’s Raman spectroscopy and machine vision technologies, including both PASS Rx® and PINPOINT Rx™.

Dr. Potuluri obtained a PhD from Duke University, an MBA from North Carolina State University, an MS from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
