Cole-Parmer appoints new HR Director and Commercial Leader
Cole-Parmer, a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment, announced today that Jeremy Lea and Graham Willis have joined the company, as new Commercial Leader and HR Director for EMEA respectively. Both bring with them a wealth of experience, and have been appointed to ensure that Cole-Parmer is optimally positioned to serve its customers and help grow revenues.
Jeremy has previously worked as a director with Bruker for over 15 years, giving him a deep understanding of the scientific community, and holds a PhD in Radiation Biophysics. Jeremy will now be responsible for the global sales performance at Cole-Parmer, leading the sales and marketing teams in the EMEA region to establish marketing strategies for all products and aiming to expand the company’s commercial activities.
Graham has worked in HR for over 30 years in both public and private sectors, working in retail and manufacturing businesses dealing with customers such as Sainsbury’s, B&Q, Nestle, Proctor & Gamble, BAE Systems and Augusta Westland. Graham’s experience and knowledge will be invaluable to Cole-Parmer as he takes ownership of the HR functions across the EMEA region for the whole of the Cole-Parmer group. There will be a key focus on the development of a HR Strategy that focuses heavily on Organisational Design, Talent, Resourcing and Remuneration.
“Cole-Parmer’s recent acquisitions within the UK and Europe present us with great opportunities to grow the business,” said Graham Willis, EMEA HR Director. “It also provides us with a great springboard for developing our brand and supporting our aim of being an employer of choice.”
