Cyntellect Establishes European Commercial Operations
Full Sales and Support Team Providing New Products to Advance Life Science and Stem Cell Research Across E.U. From Newport, U.K. Office – MipTech Conference & Tradeshow
SAN DIEGO & NEWPORT, England–Cyntellect, Inc., a privately-held life science company commercializing products to advance life science and stem cell research, biopharmaceutical production and drug discovery, today announced the opening of the Company’s European operations with a U.K.-based office headed by Director of European Sales and Operations, Gareth Jones. Cyntellect’s new E.U. enterprise includes an experienced commercial team of sales, scientific and service support staff located across the U.K., France, Germany and the Netherlands to cover all of the European Union.

Cyntellect will formally introduce two of its new products to the European market at the MipTech Conference & Tradeshow in Basel, Switzerland taking place during October 13-15, 2009. The Celigo™ Cytometer is Cyntellect’s newest platform for non-invasive in situ live cell imaging and includes both brightfield and fluorescence applications. The new LEAP™ Stem Cell Manager module for the LEAP Cell Processing Workstation manages a series of key stem cell research processes, including automated physical passage of stem cells, automated embryoid body generation, and purification of specialized cell types derived from stem cells.
