Everett, WA and Washington, DC-Danaher plans to acquire all of Lifschultz Industries’ outstanding shares in an acquisition valued at around $33 million. Lifschultz operating subsidiary Hart Scientific will become part of the Precision Measurement Group of Danaher’s Fluke subsidiary. Hart Scientific, a supplier of precision temperature calibration products and calorimetry instrumentation, will continue doing business under its current name from its Utah manufacturing center. Fluke stated that the acquisition will broaden its product line and services. In fiscal year 2000, Lischultz Industries generated $19 million in revenues.
