Diagenode Launches a Unique Portfolio for RNA Sequencing Library Preparation

Diagenode’s new RNA-sequencing library preparation catalog incorporates “Capture and Amplification by Tailing and Switching” (CATS) for high efficiency and accuracy

Denville, NJ and Liege, Belgium

Diagenode, a leading global provider for complete solutions for sample preparation and epigenetics research, recently launched a complete product solution for RNA sequencing using “Capture and Amplification by Tailing and Switching (CATS), complementing the company’s current NGS library preparation portfolio. The company is initially launching the library preparation kit for sequencing small RNAs – the CATS Small RNA-seq Kit. Library preparation kits available through the company’s early access program include those for the transcriptome (mRNAs only) and whole transcriptome (long non-coding RNAs and mRNAs). Full access will begin by the end of the year.

CATS is a ligation-independent method for generating DNA libraries for next generation sequencing from low input amounts of DNA or RNA. CATS
