process monitoring, introduces five new products at PittCon 2010.

For analyzing liquid streams using transmission spectroscopy Durasens introduces the LT-D

Series of Diamond Liquid Transmission Cells. The use of diamond windows and a sturdy 316

stainless steel body construction give the cells mechanical strength, chemical inertness, superior

abrasion resistance and permit operation over a broad spectral range making these cells equally

at home in the laboratory, pilot plant or manufacturing plant.

Also for analyzing liquid streams using transmission spectroscopy Durasens introduces the LT-R

Series of Rapid Flow Liquid Transmission Cells. The patent pending LT-R Series cells allow for the

rapid unimpeded flow of sample. A variety of window choices and a range of pathlengths are

available. The cells come in temperature controlled and high-pressure versions.

At PittCon 2010 Durasens introduces the LR-9RD, a nine-reflection diamond ATR flow through cell

for analyzing liquids. The 316 stainless steel body and the diamond ATR element provide for a

rugged cell that can stand up to a range of fluids and environments.

Durasens also offers two new probe-like slipstream feeders. These convenient interfaces require a

single port to both extract and return fluid for slipstream analysis. Two versions are available, a

stainless steel flange based version for interfacing to standard ports and a cork stopper version for

interfacing to standard laboratory reactors.

In addition, Durasens introduces the Duralyzer Series, a line of spectrometric analyzers that

operate in the UV-VIS-SWNIR, LWNIR or the mid-IR spectral range. The Duralyzer spectrometric

analyzers can be used with any of Durasens’ cells and can be configured for laboratory reaction

monitoring or for industrial process monitoring. Various custom configurations are possible.
