Cytiva joins the top one percent in EcoVadis’ prestigious global sustainability rating

EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading providers of business sustainability ratings, has awarded Cytiva Sweden a platinum rating, placing Cytiva in the top 1% of companies assessed.

EcoVadis’ assessment is based on four categories: the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Cytiva’s biggest improvements driving platinum status were:

• Environment score increased 20 points partially due to Cytiva’s ISO14001 global certification, which was awarded in December 2021.
• Sustainable procurement’s score increased 10 points partially due to due diligence driving our supplier assessment program where 80% of our top spend suppliers have been assessed on sustainability performance.

Its evidence-based ratings are validated by a global team of experts and covers more than 90 000 companies across 200 industry categories and 160 countries.
