Purolite is proud to Welcome Elizabeth Cuan to the Purolite team in Mexico! Elizabeth joined us a few months ago as Office Support to the Mexican office. Elizabeth will report to Fabio Sousa, Managing Director of Latin America.

Elizabeth discovered Purolite through an online job board. She shares that she joined Purolite because it looked like a challenging environment where she could practice her administrative skills and further develop her professional skills. She also particularly enjoyed the personable office environment. “I value the kind treatment of others, especially at work. My co-workers will notice that I try to respect and be kind to them, and from what I have seen in my time here, they reciprocate this towards me.”

Professionally, Elizabeth considers her strength business administration; particularly for finance. She has worked past administrative jobs, her most recent being with FESTO Mexico, a German corporation supplying pneumatic and electrical automation technology. There, she worked as an analyst for the Data Processing Center. She believes strongly in treating her work with a sense of urgency, working through projects quickly and effectively, and hopes that her fellow employees will appreciate that about her.

Elizabeth attended Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNTEC), located in Mexico City, where she earned her bachelors in Administration. She is currently working on an MBA in Business Administration. She speaks English, and has experience working with SAP, a business management platform.

“I am motivated by my family, my kind co-workers, and the idea of improving the world,” Elizabeth shares about her motivation to reach this point, “I also appreciate having the opportunity to acquire more knowledge and experience so that I can better help others.”

She is currently living in Atizapán with her boyfriend and dogs. Her favorite thing to do in is bike. When not working, Elizabeth enjoys walking her dogs, exercising, reading, and hanging out with friends and family. Her favorite cuisines include Mexican and Japanese food.

On joining Purolite, Elizabeth shares, “I have a strong background in Customer Service areas, and I look forward to receiving new information and challenges from Purolite, where I can get the opportunity to use what I already know and grow as employee.”
