JUMO sends apprentices and post-secondary students abroad
In October 2011 six commercial and sales apprentices had the opportunity to spend four weeks working in a subsidiary abroad. That experience gave them a glimpse of the bigger picture and a chance to gather experience and impressions.
This opportunity allowed the young apprentices to get to know the company from a completely different point of view. The aim of sending people abroad is to show apprentices and post-secondary students the importance of international communication at an early stage. In addition, their stay also acts as an additional incentive and strengthens identification with the company.
40 years of JUMO measurement and control instruments in Austria
The agency in Austria was founded in 1970 as a field office of JUMO Fulda. One year later the decision was made to run the agency as an independent subsidiary.
Today, the Austrian agency has set up its own probe manufacturing facility and is itself the “parent” of six subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Fast and uncomplicated on-site support is ensured by the two production sites in Vienna and Arad, Romania.
Prospects for 2012
