Fluidigm Corporation Announces Exercise of Underwriters’ Over-Allotment Option

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Fluidigm Corporation (NASDAQ:FLDM) today announced that the underwriters of its initial public offering have exercised in full their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 833,750 shares of Fluidigm common stock at $13.50 per share, less underwriting discounts and commissions.

Together with the shares sold pursuant to the over-allotment option, Fluidigm has sold a total of 6,392,083 shares of common stock in its initial public offering, with net proceeds to Fluidigm of $78.0 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and expenses payable by the company.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co. acted as joint book-running managers for the offering, and Cowen and Company LLC and Leerink Swann LLC acted as co-managers.
