GenomeQuest, Inc., the leader in sequence informatics, today announced that it has named Deirdre O. Aubuchon as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Ms. Aubuchon will be responsible for GenomeQuest’s worldwide financial operations, ensuring that the company maintains the financial infrastructure necessary to successfully execute the company’s strategic plan.

Ms. Aubuchon has over 20 years of financial leadership helping to build fast-growing technology companies. Aubuchon most recently served as Deploy Solutions’ chief financial and operating officer when the SaaS company achieved five consecutive years of more than 50 percent annual revenue growth, while earning both local and national Best Places to Work awards prior to selling the company to Kronos, Inc. Before Deploy, Aubuchon served as vice president of finance for ZEFER, where she led the company’s IPO process after building the infrastructure to grow the company to 800 employees with $110 million of revenue in less than two years. Prior to joining ZEFER, she was vice president of corporate finance at Liberty International, where she directed worldwide M&A activity. She has also held senior-level positions in finance with Berlitz International, Standard & Poor’s, and Dun & Bradstreet Software. Aubuchon is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
