Hach Company Adds Water Information Management Solutions to Product Portfolio

Loveland, Colo. – Feb. 10, 2009 – Hach Company has broadened its Integrated Information Management product portfolio with the addition of a new suite of software products based on products and technologies that came with Hach’s recent purchases of OPS Systems and the assets of WaterEye Corporation:

– Hach WIMSTM and Hach WIMS OnDemandTM, two new Hach Water Information Management Solutions(tm) – Hach JobCal(r), a computerized maintenance management system – Hach Aspen, a laboratory information management system The acquisition of OPS Systems and WaterEye(r) enhances Hach’s ability to provide powerful water-industry-focused solutions aimed at protecting public health and the environment, meeting compliance requirements, building informed decisions, and reducing costs. The new offerings will increase end users’ effectiveness at all levels by collecting, managing, analyzing, reporting and communicating data in ways never before possible. With these solutions, Hach will continue its long tradition of providing leading-edge products and solutions for the benefit of customers worldwide. WaterEye’s patented web-based technology brings Hach the ability to deliver the water industry’s only patented web-based information management solutions. Hach will transition WaterEye customers to a new Hach WIMS OnDemand solution over the coming months.
