Pittsburgh, PA – Industrial Scientific, a provider of portable gas detectors and fixed gas monitoring systems, has acquired Oldham SA, a maker of stationary gas monitors, from venture capital firm 3i Group for an undisclosed sum. “I am pleased that our combination with Industrial Scientific creates the clear, worldwide leader in gas monitoring instruments and systems,” said Oldham SA President and CEO Jean- Marc Santraine, who will become president of ISC Oldham. Following the acquisition, Industrial Scientific has been reorganized into three divisions based on geographic focus.
