(Akko, Israel) – Jacob Belson, COO of Modcon Systems Ltd, has been named corporate vice president and chief executive officer for Modcon Systems operation in Israel. Jacob Belson will assume his role effective November 1, 2012.

Jacob Belson holds B.Sc. in industrial management engineering, MBA in business administration and M.A in business coaching. He has more than 25 years of practical experience in aviation and automotive industries and established record of success implementation and performance marshaling limited resources to the most productive uses with the aim of creating maximum value for the company’s stakeholders.

Gregory Shahnovsky, the co-founder of the company, will continue to utilize his experience and vision to guide Modcon Group as corporate President and Chairman of the Board. Modcon Group operates as multinational company with operations in UK, Israel, USA, Russia, Azerbaijan and representative offices all over the world. By combining a traditional territorial focus with a focus on the informal cross-departmental networks and mechanisms Modcon looks forward to venturing into wider areas of application with new innovative products.
