LECO Introduces Automated Shuttle Loader for 836 Series

St. Joseph, Mich.—LECO’s 836 Series Oxygen/Nitrogen/Hydrogen Elemental Analyzer is now available with an optional shuttle loader, providing seamless, automated sequential or non-sequential processing of pre-weighed samples of inorganic materials, ferrous and nonferrous alloys, and refractory materials.

The system consists of a single 20-crucible carousel, and a single gripper shuttle that provides seamless automation with a sturdy design for minimal maintenance. With a robust design that minimizes downtime, the Shuttle20 Loader offers an ideal solution for high-throughput laboratories requiring unattended analyses. Dependable stepper motors with low-maintenance rails are used to improve system reliability, and to alleviate the need for manual adjustments. Windows®-based software simplifies the alignment procedure and helps to ensure the system’s long-term stability.

The new shuttle loader is supported by LECO’s exclusive Cornerstone® on-board software platform, which provides the user with complete access to analysis control, method settings, diagnostics, reporting, and more in a highly-organized and immersive environment. Designed through a collaboration of customer feedback and innovative engineering, Cornerstone allows the user to conduct all of their day-to-day operations within a single Analysis screen designed for speed and ease-of-use. An innovative grouping of sample data simplifies data output and automatically calculates relevant statistics, alleviating the need for additional data processing.
