LEEZA + Durcon = Perfect Chemistry
Montréal, – Mark Hanna, partner of LEEZA, announced the company’s acquisition of B&F Enterprises, a major Canadian supplier of Durcon laboratory-grade work surfaces in education and research environments. Durcon work surfaces are revered worldwide for the quality, care, and innovation poured into each piece.
The acquisition comes at a transitional time for B&F Enterprises. After nearly 45 years at the helm, B&F owner Bill Ford decided to sell the business to LEEZA, noting that, “This acquisition will add dimension and new products while making sure B&F customers remain in good hands.”
Hanna added, “We’re grateful for Bill’s leadership for over four decades, and we’re thrilled to have LEEZA represent Durcon in Canada. Durcon is a product many of us are familiar with. Just think back to your high school chemistry class, and there’s a good chance you were conducting experiments on a Durcon surface. For over 40 years, they’ve been the leading manufacturer of durable epoxy resin products.” Hanna has named LEEZA’s own Robert Crowe as the new manager of B&F Enterprises.
Cordell Bennigson, president and CEO of Durcon Incorporated, said, “Durcon has enjoyed long and successful relationships with the teams at both B&F Enterprises and LEEZA. The combination of these two business enterprises provides the synergy to expand and better serve the North American market.”
