LICORbio INTRODUCES THE ATLAS™ IMAGING SYSTEM
LINCOLN, NE – LICORbio is thrilled to announce the first in a new line of 3D cell culture imaging systems. Created for the demands of translational research, the Atlas Imaging System delivers fast, precise 2D and 3D imaging without the need for stitching, intensity correction, or other time-consuming post-processing steps. It delivers reliable, quantifiable results in less time, so researchers can keep their focus where it belongs: on their next discovery.
“The Atlas Imaging System is a major advancement in 3D cell culture analysis,” said Mike Furtaw, director of research and development at LICORbio. “It provides fast, accurate, quantitative fluorescence, luminescence, and brightfield imaging at the scale needed for spheroid, organoid, and organ-on-a-chip workflows. The Atlas bridges the gap between traditional in vitro and in vivo imaging by providing z-stacks of individual wells and whole plate imaging in the same device.”
The unique line-scanning technology of the Atlas Imager enables whole-plate imaging in less than one minute, as well as higher-resolution, single-well scanning. It can also image through entire 3D samples in 0.01 mm increments to create stunning z-stacks and 2D projections of organoids, spheroids, and organ-on-a-chip systems. With over 30 imaging channels spanning UV to NIR, plus luminescence, brightfield, and epi-illumination, the Atlas Imager simplifies workflows, eliminates inefficiencies, and captures deep spatial insights in a fraction of the time—and at a fraction of the cost—of competitive solutions
“As our customers continue to evolve in their research and discover more representative models for drug discovery, so must their tools. We are very excited to take this next step in supporting our highly innovative customers,” said Bambi Reynolds, senior vice president and general manager.
The next era of cell imaging isn’t just sharper—it’s smarter, faster, and more scalable, too. The Atlas Imager is LICORbio’s first solution purpose-built for both 2D and 3D assays, delivering higher-content, higher-throughput imaging with unmatched speed, scale, clarity, and ease.
