Malvern Panalytical, one of the world’s leading suppliers of analytical instrumentation and software, opened their totally refurbished application lab at the Almelo headquarters at Lelyweg 1 on July 6th. The entire international management was present on this day.

Since 1 January 2017, PANalytical has merged its activities with UK-based sister company Malvern Instruments. As a result, the size of the organization has doubled and the product portfolio has expanded considerably. This is therefore the best time to completely renew the application lab according to the latest state of the art.

The new multi-functional application lab shows a large part of the entire product portfolio. The systems are used for demonstrations to international (potential) customers, to provide expertise for current customers and to develop new applications and total solutions. This lab serves as an example for the other Malvern Panalytical application laboratories in Westborough (USA), Tokyo (Japan) and Shanghai (China) and functionality was therefore one of the main points of attention during the renovation.

The new application lab does not look like a typical laboratory. The professional and modern colorful appearance invites customers and visitors to enter. “We find a pleasant working environment for our employees very important,” said Huub Smit, Marketing Director at Malvern Panalytical.
