Markes launches Centri in North America at Pittcon 2019

Markes International will be introducing its new Centri® multi-mode sample automation and concentration system for GC–MS to the North American market at Pittcon 2019, which will be held this year at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia, from 17–21 March.

Centri was first launched in Europe at the Analytica trade show in 2018, and has already proved to be extremely popular, recently winning an accolade in The Analytical Scientist Innovation Awards 2018: Strokes of Genius. The judges said: “It is often not immediately clear upfront which of the different sample preparation techniques for the analysis of volatiles will give the best results – this instrument simply combines them all”.

Centri, along with Markes’ thermal desorption products, will be exhibited on Booth #2455.
