microLAN Exstends R&D Facility in Monitoring Station

After winning a SenterNovem development project (for developing the SPE-UVTOX- combination) microLan has in collaboration with Rijkswaterstaat (Dutch Department of Public Works) achieved a further expansion from the monitoring station in Hank at the river Maas (Mouse, the Netherlands).

This new section of the laboratory will house the permanent equipment, from which the data is directly sent to the website www.aqualarm.nl. In the near future, besides the TOXControl, the s::can UV-VISsensor will be placed also, for measuring TOC, DOC, turbidity, NO3 and UV254. The picture shows the latest version of the TOXcontrol, the innovative iTOX (for integrated toxicity monitoring). These systems are now being tested on location at the river Maas, before they are sent to different customers.

Future extensions with other sensors such as the SPE-UV-TOX combination, which is now being developed, are possible and can be placed and evaluated in this section of the laboratory.

For more information or access to the real-time data from both TOXcontrol and the s::can UV-VISsensor send an email to: info@microlan.nl
